01 What Brand Strategy and Logo Design for Bilge İnşaat needed
Bilge İnşaat is a specialized developer focusing on the urban renewal of aging residential buildings in Istanbul's Bağdat Caddesi district. The existing brand did not signal the craft and discretion that buyers in that neighborhood expect. The brief asked for a brand strategy and logo that could carry the studio's positioning into a premium market without looking like a generic developer.
02 How the studio approached it
WOBL anchored the strategy on the idea of 'careful renewal', positioning Bilge not as a builder but as a custodian of the neighborhood's architectural memory. The logo combined a classic monogram with a subtle architectural detail drawn from Bağdat Caddesi's building stock. Typography paired a contemporary serif with a quiet sans, signaling heritage and precision in one system.
03 What came out of it
Deliverables included the brand strategy document, logo system, identity guidelines, stationery kit, and signage concepts.
